Today’s competitive world demands process plants to be more resilient and efficient in the face of increasingly stringent product specifications, safety and environmental requirements. Such circumstances necessitate the use of more advanced technologies including model-based control, on-line fault detection, real-time optimisation, as well as various intelligence techniques. Our researchers are committed to support the development and implementation of the progressive technologies through research and development, consultancy, and manpower training.

PCS group is equipped with two laboratories, well-resourced with computer software and experimental rigs to support our research endeavours. The labs house more than 30 research students working together along with our key researchers in a socially-warm atmosphere
