Current Research
 
  • Oil and Gas Processing and Utilization: i) Development of zeolite and activated carbon as natural gas adsorbents for pressure swing adsorption (PSA) and adsorptive natural gas storage (ANG);
    ii) Heat and mass transfer analysis in LPG storage operation; and iii) Crude oil emulsion characterization, stability and demulsification process.
  • Waste Treatment, Utilization and Recycling: i) Precious metal extraction from industrial waste using conventional extraction processes and emulsion liquid membrane; and ii) Agricultural waste utilization for organic acids production.
  • Separation Technology: Protein, antibiotics and organic acids separation using reverse micelles, liquid membrane and reactive extractions.
