Design, synthesis and Improvement (Retrofit) of new as well as existing process systems with emphasis on achieving maximum energy efficiency and minimising waste discharge.

  1. Development of a New Systematic Technique for Mass Exchange Network for Batch Process Systems
    - Project case study based on a local Palm Oil Mill and Textile (IRPA 74070).
  2. Simultaneous Energy and Water Reduction in Process Systems.
    - Project case study based on a local Pulp and Paper Mill (IRPA 74057).
  3. Development of a New Intensified Process for Production of High Quality Refined Palm Oil (Based on a Local Palm Oil Mill and Refinery) - Joint venture with Chemical Eng pilot Plant, UTM, Golden Hope and FVOP.
  4. MATRIX - a New Systematic Technique for Heat Recovery Network Retrofit – Project case study based on a local Pulp and Paper Mill, a Local Palm oil Refinery and Petrochemical Refinery (IRPA 72017, RMC 71784).
  5. Heat-MATRIX : A Software for Simultaneous Reduction of Energy and Water in Process Plants (IRPA 72017, RMC 71784)
